Reggie Bush Progressing But Sits Out Practice

The last time that New Orleans Saints' running back and punt returner extraordinaire Reggie Bush played in a Monday Night Football game, he took two punts back for touchdowns and nearly took another one back. Now, his status for the Monday night game against the Green Bay Packers is unknown after suffering a knee injury while returning a punt against the Carolina Panthers earlier this year. Bush sat out Friday's practice but with the Monday night game coming up, Head Coach Sean Payton decided to give Bush an extra day of rest. His status will be determined today by the staff. The 5-5 Saints could certainly use Bush's explosiveness in the Superdome where they need to win, not just to stay in the playoff race but to send a message to the NFL that they are still in this thing. Bush says that he thinks that he will be ready to go against the Pack and he may even return punts. Are You Ready For Some Football? (link)
