Reunion Tour

 
The five-game road trip that the Nets are on is somewhat of a reunion tour, as they met up with old friend Jason Collins tonight in Memphis, will get catch a glimpse of what former coach Byron Scott has done with the Hornets in New Orleans on Friday night and then face Jason Kidd for the first time in Dallas on Saturday. Guess which of those former Nets is least likely to say something bad about the team? You got it. The man they call Twin. Collins burst out of the trainer’s room before tipoff tonight and greeted a group of reporters with a friendly smile and warm handshakes. Just like old times. After playing six and a half seasons with the Nets - his tenure coincided with Kidd’s - Collins was sent to the Grizzlies for Stromile Swift on Feb.4. Last night was the first time he played against the team he went to two Finals with. Collins expressed no ill will toward the Nets, quite the contrary, in fact.
