Revolution 2, Galaxy 1

 
Adam Cristman scored two goals in a 4-minute span to give the New England Revolution a 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy on Friday night. The Revolution (10-4-3) used the victory to extend their lead in the Eastern Conference to seven points over second-place Columbus. David Beckham scored his fifth goal of the season for the Galaxy (6-6-3), which saw its winless streak extend to three games. Cristman scored his first goal in the 33rd minute. (link)
