Scottie Reynolds scored 25 points, Corey Fisher added 15 and No. 25 Villanova pulled away in the closing minutes to beat foul-plagued Syracuse 81-71 on Saturday. Facing its first ranked opponent of the season, Syracuse (13-6, 3-3 Big East), with only eight scholarship players available, got into serious foul trouble for the first time this season and it proved costly.
