The banner hung from the third-base gate outside Citizens Bank Park, a 25-by-75-foot testament to Jimmy Rollins' spectacular season, one that earned him the National League Most Valuable Player Award. The need for such a banner may have been cemented on the final day of the regular season when Rollins provided his final and most impressive argument for why he should win the esteemed award.
