There aren't enough superlatives in the book to describe Adrian Peterson's afternoon and rookie season thus far. I'm not sure what's was more stunning this afternoon, that AD had 296 yards rushing or that he had 256 more than LaDainian Tomlinson. While Adrian Peterson was running all over the Chargers defense , Antonio Cromartie gave San Diego some hope at the end of the first half. The Vikings lined up for a 58 yard field goal attempt, which fell just short.
