Roscoe Parrish Arrested for DUI, Que Sera, Sera for Bills

 
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Roscoe Parrish was arrested for driving under the influence on Saturday, February 16. He was found by the police at approximately 4:30 a.m. in his hometown of Miami, Florida driving his 2005 Bentley. He was later released on a bond of $1000. While alcohol is not a banned substance by the NFL, Parrish may still face a maximum suspension of four weeks. This may seem all too familiar for Bills fans as newly signed Defensive End Anthony Hargrove was arrested near the start of the 2007 season for assaulting a police officer. Hargrove was also under the influence and was subsequently suspended for the first four weeks of the 2007 season. The NFL may not step in at all, however, as before the 2007 season Chicago Bears Linebacker Lance Briggs was involved in a traffic controversy in which he committed various traffic violations, but the NFL did not impose any punishment Although the circumstances and type of violation are completely different, his case is proof ...
