Defensive tackle Hollis Thomas, a starter for the New Orleans Saints for much of the past two seasons, has a right triceps injury that will sideline him about two months. Saints coach Sean Payton said Thomas injured himself during drills in a practice Wednesday with the Houston Texans and then had surgery Thursday morning.

Lucky for Chesney, it was a non-contact practice, yet there was still some pressure. Saints head coach Sean Payton told the team they would have a day off if Chesney could catch a punt in two tries.Chesney came through on the third try, but Payton went ahead and scheduled the day off.
