In the Jim Calhoun era at UConn, the Huskies had not lost a first round game (14-0). Calhoun’s record now stands at 14-1 in first round games at UConn as the San Diego Toreros upset the Huskies in a West Region First Round game at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, FL. The Toreros move on to face Western Kentucky, who upset Drake, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.UPDATE: UConn sucks too. And a very, very, very telling/shocking stat.
