Schneider back, set to face old team
Published 4/23/2008 at Surfing the Mets - NY Daily News Blogs
Brian Schneider is back in the lineup tonight for the first time since Saturday.
“Yes I am,” Schneider declared when asked if he was returning from a bruised right forearm. “I still feel it. It’s definitely in there. But the swelling is down. It’s not an issue.”
As for what reception the ex-Nat will get, Schneider said: “I think it will be okay.”
He figured there will be plenty of Mets fans anyway.
“Hopefully the majority will be,” he said.
