Scholes finally picks up Champions League medal

Paul Scholes finally has his Champions League winners' medal. The veteran Manchester United midfielder had been substituted long before the 6-5 penalty shootout win that sealed his team's victory over Chelsea in Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, but that didn't matter. At least he made it to the game this time after missing United's 1999 final win over Bayern Munich because of a suspension. "The disappointment of '99 has gone now for him," United manager Alex Ferguson said. [link]
