Scholes makes up for missing 1999 triumph

For eight years, Paul Scholes has lived with the memory of missing Manchester United's Champions League triumph because he was suspended. He can live with himself a little easier now. The 33-year-old midfielder assured his trip to Moscow this time, scoring the winner Tuesday in United's 1-0 semifinal victory over Barcelona. The 25-meter strike in the 14th minute was the only goal between the two sides in two legs, making up for Cristiano Ronaldo's missed at Camp Nou a week ago. (link)
