Scirrotto agrees to plea deal in fight case

Penn State safety Anthony Scirrotto was sentenced to a year probation after pleading guilty Thursday to a misdemeanor count of defiant trespass for his role in an off-campus fight.
Scirrotto's lawyer said his client must serve 25 days community service and pay a $500 fine as part of a plea agreement. A judge dismissed a felony charge of criminal trespass and a count of summary harassment.
Two people were hurt in the fight last April at an apartment, police said.
