SEC Rankings: Georgia Bulldogs Maintain Number One Spot

 
The SEC missed out on an opportunity to completely smother the ACC when Ole Miss lost a heartbreaker to Wake Forest. The conference season heats up this week with Georgia vs South Carolina. 1. Georgia The Bulldogs covered the Over by themselves against Central Michigan. They limited QB Dan LeFevour on the ground and looked very good overall on defense. Now the real tests begin and don’t end until the end of the season. 2. Florida Florida’s defense carried the Gators for most of the game until the offense awoke in the fourth quarter. I still say Florida needs an inside runner besides Tebow. They have great speed on the edge though. 3. Auburn 4. LSU 5. Alabama Not as impressive as last week, but a small letdown had to be expected against Tulane. 6. Kentucky 7. Tennessee 8. Ole Miss QB Jevan Snead was impressive in a last second loss to Wake Forest.
