The league obviously prefers Thursday night games to Saturday night games on the NFL Network. The eight-game package for the league-owned television channel includes seven Thursday night games and only one Saturday nighter. The Thursday night games begin on Nov. 6, three weeks before Thanksgiving, with Denver at Cleveland.
