Shane Lechler Attacked

Raiders Pro Bowl punter Shane Lechler is likely to seize the opportunity that every current Raiders player dreams of getting one day: leaving Oakland and playing for another team. The Raiders will probably use the franchise tag on star corner Nnamdi Asomugha (I feel for you Aso!), and Lechler has been unhappy since getting pounded by Raiders 6'7″ 335 lb. DT, Terdell Sands . Real nice, Terdell — beating up on a guy who could fit in your belly. I think I’d rather get attacked by the Loch Ness Monster than that beast—the Loch Ness might be better looking , too.   Original image via Grace (link)

Post-Pro Bowl thoughts and observations: It would be a tremendous mistake for the Jets to sign Ray Lewis. The man is an all-timer, but he's 34 and the Jets need to break the cycle of signing past-their-prime legends. It doesn't work. They tried it ...
