Sheffield back in lineup, remains hitless

After missing the past four games, Gary Sheffield was back in the Tigers lineup as expected at designated hitter Tuesday in a split-squad contest against the Reds. He went 0-for-3 for the afternoon, leaving him at 0-for-14 for the spring.
