Sherrill in limbo over trade rumor

 
Unless someone points him in another direction, Mariners left-hander George Sherrill will spend Wednesday night in Mesquite, Nev. Or possibly in a hotel room in Baltimore. And then again, who knows? He certainly doesn't. Sherrill finds himself living in limbo, thanks to reports out of Baltimore and Seattle that mentioned him as part of a rumored multiplayer trade involving Orioles left-hander Erik Bedard. (link)
