So much for small ball. Craig Monroe went 2-for-4 with two of light-hitting Minnesota's three home runs and four RBIs, and the Twins hung on for a 9-8 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday night.

After getting out to a 7-1 lead over the Boston Red Sox, the Minnesota Twins did everything they could to give the Red Sox game but in the end, they held on to beat the Red Sox 9-8 in front of 26,511 at the Metrodome.Manny Ramirez: Not Such A "Bad Man"

Manny had a chance to tie and/or win the game last night for the Sox, but his instead of a pinch hit home run, he simply grounded out to short and is now in a 9-52 funk since going 3-5 on April 25th... What's wrong with Manny?Red Sox don't have to be loved, but they should be admired
