Smith dismissed from BC team

Boston College defensive end Brady Smith has been kicked off the team after he was charged in an on-campus rape. Smith pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of raping a 21-year-old student and breaking and entering with an intent to commit a felony during the weekend incident. The junior was held on $50,000 cash bail and ordered to stay away from the alleged victim and college property. Eagles coach Jeff Jagodzinski said Wednesday he had permanently dismissed Smith from the team. [link]
