Smoltz gets kudos from all around

Former teammate Greg Maddux texted his congratulations -- if you can call it that -- to John Smoltz. San Diego's Maddux, ever the jokester, typed that the balding Smolz had lost a hair for every one of his strikeouts while becoming just the 16th pitcher in Major League history to reach the 3,000 milestone.
