Snyder: 'We've let everyone down'

Amid the change and turmoil that has surrounded the Redskins' season, one voice has been missing. While fans and critics have hurled shots at the team and management, owner Daniel Snyder has remained silent -- until today. "We've let everyone down, including ourselves, and we know that and we're just apologetic," Snyder told reporters, according to an Associated Press report, at a charity event this afternoon in Prince George's County. Snyder was asked about the team's recent ban on signs inside FedEx Field but did not address that issue. "I think number one I feel bad for the fans. I feel sorry for the fans. And we're very, very appreciative of our great, loyal fan base. And I'm understanding; I mean, we just feel terrible," Snyder said, according to the team's website.
