Sorry Al, these "Raiduhs" need a new commitment. Oh and by the way it does not include you.
Since the Oakland Raiders appeared in Superbowl XXXVII they've finished with losing records in each of the past 7 seasons. Al Davis, Raiders Owner, and ruthless leader is fading along side the Raiders tarnished NFL image.
Davis' declining health should be enough of a reason to step down as the Raiders leader.
But, Davis does not seem to see it that way. He's fired coach after coach, nothing changed—they still lost.
Not since the 2002-03 season have the Raiders clinched a playoff spot. The "Just Win Baby" slogan that the Raiders love so much isn't as convincing as it was 6 or 7 years ago. Some of the blame must go to Al Davis—he is the one is charge isn't he?
Over the past few years the Raiders have wasted first round, first pick draft picks on players that aren't a force in the NFL. JaMarcus Russell has talent, yes, but he doesn't have what I think it takes to be an effective quarterback ...
