Sox Tales from Bama: Wednesday Evening Blues

 
I am new to Bleacher Report, but I have heard a great deal of wonderful things about the site. With that out, I figured that it was time that I jumped aboard the Bleacher Bandwagon. Red Sox....what are they to me? Of course, they are a team. Yes, they are the defending World Series Champions. And by the way, they do have the second highest payroll in baseball. To me, they are the reason that I woke up two consecutive mornings at 5 a.m. (CT) to watch a live broadcast of Opening Day 2008 from Japan. The idea of baseball in the morning is wonderful. Wake up, turn on the coffee, turn on the TV and dissolve away into the universe of baseball. Not such a bad deal, right? Well, I thought the same thing until my last two morning encounters of "Breakfast and Baseball". Tuesday AM - ESPN 2 coverage of the Red Sox vs. A's was suppose to begin at 5.
