Special play pays off for Patriots

 
FOXBOROUGH - Jabar Gaffney said the play was called "Ravens Special." What it should have been called, though, was "No. 27 Special," in honor of Anthony Smith, the Steelers' second-year safety out of Syracuse who, earlier this week, guaranteed a Pittsburgh victory over the undefeated Patriots yesterday at Gillette Stadium.
