What a week it has been if you are a Syracuse football fan ... Now, after all of this is still in the front burners, the Huskies of the University of Connecticut wait for the Orange to arrive at Rentschler Field for UConn’s Senior Day. The Syracuse Orange basketball team downed the Fordham Rams 80-63 on Friday Night. Showing that this young team is able to beat an inferior opponent and hold on to a lead. This was a big game for freshman Donte Greene who had 25 points. Jonny Flynn finished with 6 points, 8 assists and more importantly ZERO turnovers. What was expected was what happened in the end. Syracuse went into a game that they needed to hang in with or get burnt hard, they could not hang in and got routed 30 to 7. If not for the touchdown from Dantley to Williams this would have been another 30 point differential loss that Head Coach has been compiling on his way to heading in the right direction.
