Steve McNair Found Dead

ESPN has confirmed the death of former 2003 NFL MVP and 13 year NFL veteran, Steve McNair, who was shot and killed in his Nashville home. McNair, 36, played 11 seasons with the Tennessee Titans organization and two with the Baltimore Ravens. Nashville police spokesperson said McNair died from a fatal gunshot wound to the head. A female victim was also found dead at the scene. The female has not been identified, but reports have announced it is not his wife. The Alcorn State grad was considered one of the toughest and most classiest player to ever to play in the NFL. He was a three-time NFL pro bowl selection. "He made Tennessee, he put us on the map," said one Tennessee resident.     (link)
