Amare Stoudemire scored 42 points to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 121-117 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night. Stoudemire shot 15-for-24 from the field and 12-for-13 from the free throw line. He also had 13 rebounds.

The Suns scored the final 8 points in the game to hold off a possible Pacers comeback. Phoenix 8-0 run in the last 71 seconds of the game sealed the win. Phoenix played some poor defense during the game but did what was needed to win, making plays in the end, in a game they could have put away much earlier.
