Struggling Lions move Woody from guard to tackle

The Detroit Lions, who have allowed a league-worst 47 sacks, have shuffled their problematic right tackle position again, moving former guard Damien Woody to the position for next Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Lions signed free agent Barry Stokes, who is expected to be the backup to Damien Woody, who was moved from guard to tackle. Woody said he hasn't played right tackle since high school but is looking forward to the challenge. At this point, George Foster appears to be completely out of the picture.
