The Steelers pick of Illinois running back Rashard Mendenhall was a bit of a surprise. Is there a concern Willie Parker’s recovery from a broken right fibula is not going that well. Najeh Davenport’s career as a Pittsburgh Steeler could be over. However, the Parker-Mendenhall combination could be one of the best running back tandems in the NFL. In the 3rd Round, Pittsburgh selected Bruce Davis, DE/OLB from UCLA. To be honest, I don't know much about Davis. From what I've heard, he was a DE/linebacker at UCLA, but could play linebacker in the bigs if he gains some weight.
