Tech-Kansas: No. 8 Red Raiders Soar Past No. 23 Jayhawks

 
The No. 23 Kansas Jayhawks were hoping to catch the No. 8 Texas Tech Red Raiders looking forward to next week game against Texas. The Red Raiders quickly silenced any hopes of a Kansas upset with 49 unanswered points in a 63-21 win. Graham Harrell helped his Heisman candidacy completing 34 passes out of 42, for 386 yards and five touchdowns. Harrell also had 14 yards rushing and a touchdown. Michael Crabtree added to Heisman campaign also, with 70 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Shannon Woods led the Red Raiders in rushing with 79 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns. Baron Batch added 46 yards on seven carries. Edward Britton led the team in receiving with three receptions for 106 yards. Todd Reesing had 16 completions out of 26, for 154 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Jake Sharp led everybody in rushing with 80 yards on 13 carries.
