The Bear Den: Should the Chicago Bears Go After Brandon Marshall?

 
Ever since Brandon Marshall went on a rage and demanded a trade, there has been some hype about the Chicago Bears trying to land him. Marshall demanded a trade from the Broncos, stating he was not happy with his contract and wants out. The first team that came to everyone's mind was the Bears. Thanks to Jay Cutler being the new Bears quarterback, people were thinking of a Cutler-Marshall reunion. Most Bears fans are saying yes to bringing in Marshall because of what him and Cutler did last year for the Broncos. Marshall is a Pro-Bowl receiver, and he has proven that. If he comes to Chicago, he will instantly be the No. 1 wide receiver on the depth chart. Add that in with the chemistry he has already developed with Cutler, and the Bears could be a contender in the NFC. Getting a solid No. 1 receiver would help the Bears a lot.
