Pistons 100, Kings 92
The Pistons began their four-game West Coast trip with a nice win in Sacramento. Once again, Rodney Stuckey was unavailable and the team started the game sluggishly. Allen Iverson stepped up and went to work, putting in 30 points and helping his team cruise to the win. Both Richard Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace continued their shooting slumps.
Pistons 107, Warriors 102
The team repeated their sluggish start at Golden State the next night. They were trailing by 12 midway through the third quarter but the Pistons closed the quarter strong leading by seven. Rasheed Wallace's late triples had a lot to do with the comeback and the subsequent win.
Kwame Brown started the game up front with Wallace instead of Amir Johnson. Later, Michael Curry said he sees that as the most viable option for the future in order to compete with the other large centers scattered throughout the league.
