Dallas Cowboys owner and manager, Jerry Jones, has always been great at recognizing talent and bringing it to his team, from signing Terrell Owens and Marion Barber to finding Tony Romo. 2008 is the same story, but with different results.
As of Tuesday, Oct. 14, Adam "Pacman" Jones has been suspended indefinitely by NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell. Jones was acquired during the 2008 offseason from the Tennessee Titans and has had his share of issues off the field. He has violated the NFL's personal conduct policy.
Jones became the starting cornerback in Dallas, but has been unimpressive so far with zero interceptions. Even in Tennessee, Pacman was far from outstanding. Even despite legal issues, owner Jerry Jones continued his acquisition.
Dallas has also acquired Detroit Lions receiver, Roy Williams, in a trade before the deadline today. Dallas gave up a first, third, and sixth round pick for the 26-year-old receiver. Williams, much like Pacman, has been unimpressive with only 17 catches ...
