The Laker Fans Shouldn't Panic

 
This article is a little late, but Laker fans do not need to panic so quick. It is frusterating to see the Lakers continue with injuries with Pau Gasol going down. Fortunately Gasol's injury is not major and he will be back hopefully by the end of March. Phil Jackson's last report was 3-26-08 at the earliest. In the meantime Chris Mihm is expected to be returning soon and should provide some assistance. While many would question Mihm's ability to contribute, I want to remind them that before his injuries Mihm was a decent player. It has been his nagging injuries that have prevented him from playing. If he is past those which appears to be the case, he will be able to provide an inside presence which will help the other players finish more plays inside the paint.  I am not calling Mihm the saviour, just some needed help.  Gasol coming back will then restore order.  I will add that while this season may seem hopeless with all of the injuries, nothing could be further from the truth.
