Was it the Lunar Eclipse? Did Ted find a way to channel Herb Brooks? Did Mike Comrie sell his soul to the Devil? What happened last night? How could the moon and Alexander the Great BOTH be eclipsed in the same night? I’m still shaking my head. After months of having the same argument with my husband, his tune changed last night. “I will just shut up now.” he said. Week after week, we battled back and forth; “A GREAT team FINDS a way to win Dee.” This was always his response when I would try to rationalize an agonizing loss. “But they worked hard. You can’t fault their effort…. They tried.” I would attempt to protect the boys like a mother bear backed into a corner. Always, I was confronted with the response “They’re not GOOD enough.
