The Road to Glory Nears for the Oakland Raiders in 2009

 
"Pride and Poise", "Commitment to Excellence",these are well known words for The Oakland Raider Organization and also the Raidernation. It has also  been a too long since we have really seen our team committed to winning. However now since the hiring of Tom Cable as head coach, there is definitely a new attitude in Oakland. The Raiders are in open waters and are now on the prowl. When Jon Gruden left the Oakland Raiders it seems to me that the magic simply left. Rich Gannon, (Charles and Rod)Woodson and Tim Brown all performed well under Gruden since he was a maniac.  Many of us know the coaching staff since Gruden: Norv Turner, Art Shell and the "I'm gonna get you back Al" Lane Kiffin. Was there a "Committment to Excellence" for any of these coaches? Of the aforementioned, I can only say Art Shell.
