Every year in the SEC, there are a few freshman that light up the football field right from the get-go. Last year, Terry Grant and Knowshon Moreno did their part in keeping that theme alive. SEC Sports Hub takes a closer look at who this year's impact freshmen are most likely to be.
A.J. Green, Georgia, WR —Green might be one of the most talented prospects in the nation this season. Entering a relatively weak Georgia receiving corps, he should quickly become a staple for quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Georgia Bulldog offense. Expect to see him on some highlight reels at ESPN before the season is over.
Jerrell Harris, Alabama, LB —Harris will benefit from Alabama's issues at linebacker, where the Crimson Tide are now severely thin. Harris will likely come in and start right away. He's one of the best natural athletes entering the SEC this year, and if he can pick up the mental aspect of the college game, he could have a Rolando McClain-like freshman ...
