The Who Dat Nation Becomes Next Year Country

 
Back in the late 1800s and early 1900s, many farmers around the nation were affected by plagues that ruined their crops, such as grasshoppers, locusts, and floods. After pinching pennies all year to survive and sometimes ending up in debt, the farmers would boldly proclaim, "Wait till next year, come next year, it will be better." That saying has now become the battle cry for the Who Dat Nation. Don't get me wrong, I have every ounce of confidence in Drew Brees, but one player can not do it alone. We need for Jeremy Shockey to get healthy and some of these defensive backs to step up and make plays instead of letting quarterbacks like Matt Ryan throw all over the field. Come next season, we'll be better. Throughout years of losing seasons, many Saints fans would say that and every now and again, the Saints would have a good season, like 2006 where a 10-6 record carried them into the playoffs with home-field advantage.
