Ouch! Despite the fact that we don't like to look at each pick as a "gambling" opportunity (and ensuing wins will usually erase any loss), it's still hard not to be smarting after a weekend like the one we just experienced. On Saturday evening, we had the UNDER 208 in the Orlando/New York game...and with five seconds remaining, a meaningless basket sent the game over. No big deal, until... On Sunday afternoon, we had the UNDER 207 in the Lakers/Dallas game...and the outcome was never in jeopardy, with the game trending well under the number. Until, that is, Dallas tied the game with two seconds left on a long three-pointer, and then the game eventually squeaked over the number during the overtime period (we were still under with 16 seconds to go). Again, no huge deal in the whole scheme of things. If you read our post from last week, you know that it's not really money that was lost here—it's just time.
