Although music ultimately won out, blues-rock legend and hardball-lover George Thorogood played semi-pro baseball in the late '70s, contributing his strong infield skills to a Delaware team in the Roberto Clemente League. His fans may only celebrate his contributions to rock, but Lonesome George still retains a tight relationship with the Grand Old Game.
