Tigers activate Granderson from DL

Center fielder Curtis Granderson was activated from the disabled list Wednesday and ready to play his first game of the season for the Detroit Tigers. Granderson broke a finger on his right hand late in spring training when he was hit by a pitch. The leadoff man missed the first 21 games of the year for the Tigers, who have gotten off to a slow start. Last season, Granderson became one of only four players in major league history with 20 home runs, 20 doubles, 20 triples and 20 stolen bases. [link]
