As part of the lineup changes promised by Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland, Gary Sheffield will move to left field -- at Sheffield's request. Sheffield takes the spot of Jacque Jones, who was designated for assignment. "I'm a better baseball player than I am a DH, " Sheffield said prior to Monday night's game against the Boston Red Sox.
