Eagles give Patriots their slimmest victory of the year
allphiladelphiasports.com 11/26/2007 — Although this one was a heartbreaker, I wanted to give the headline a positive spin. The Eagles were the biggest underdog in NFL history and they take perhaps the best team in NFL history down to the wire. Other than the Colts (who lost to the Patriots by 4), no team has lost to the Patriots by less than 17 points this year. Unfortunately there are no moral victories in the NFL.
