The level of coaches in college football is just phenomenal. This article will point out some of the best. Some attributes that helped coaches make this list are football smarts, recruiting, and player progression. If I had made these rankings after Week One, I would've included Rick Neuheisel, but that idea dropped quickly after a 59-0 loss to BYU and Bronco Mendenhall, who is included in this ranking of the top 10 best current college football coaches.   1. Les Miles, LSU Everybody knows how gutsy Les Miles is and how much it has worked for him in the past. He led LSU to an SEC championship and a national championship even with two losses. He showed how aggressive he can be after kicking an onside kick in the third quarter Saturday night against Auburn, which ended up giving LSU the momentum and the win.   2.
