Continuing the three-part series on the top NBA players and where they might go, this article will be about shooting forwards. These articles will not include players who have ETO (early termination option) or RFA (restricted free agents).
Let’s get started.
SF Ron Artest : Ron Artest was probably the most questioned move last offseason. People weren’t sure if Artest would work in Houston—would his personal problems come with him?
Well, as we saw this year, Artest was one of the most important pieces for the Houston Rockets and their run to the playoffs. Because T-Mac went down, they had to have someone step up; Artest wound up being that man.
Last season, Artest scored 17 PPG, 3.3 APG and five RPG. He would add a great scoring threat to any team’s lineup.
Possible signing destination: Houston Rockets (I think they are going to push to re-sign him).
