Torn ACL ends Panthers LB Davis' season (AP)

Carolina Panthers starting weakside linebacker Thomas Davis is lost for the season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Davis' knee buckled without getting hit in the second half of Sunday's loss New Orleans. Tests on Monday confirmed the tear, ending Davis' most productive pro season.
