Well, it was an exciting end to a very disappointing season as Jesse Litsch gave one last great performance in a 10-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles, ending the Jays' season on a good note and giving them a final record of 86-76.
Jesse Litsch made sure he made the most of the final regular season game, giving the Jays his best performance of the season.
Litsch's only blemish on the night came when he gave up a run-scoring double to Melvin Mora, scoring pinch runner Alex Cintron.
Litsch finished the game having thrown seven very good innings, giving up just that one run on a measly three hits, one walk, while striking out five batters. Reliever Jesse Carlson pitched a scoreless eighth while Brandon League finished off the Jays' season with a scoreless ninth.
While the Jays' pitching was amazing, the Orioles' pitching proved to be just the opposite. Starter Jeremy Guthrie lasted just four innings, giving up three runs on six hits, one walk, while striking out three batters.
