MLS weekend attendances --- (May 17 and 18)

(from MVN Soccer) MLS attendances on average rival NBA and NHL. Since MLS is outdoors and NBA and NHL are inside, weather is going to be a factor in some instances. Good attendances in record heat (LA) and damp (Chicago, NJ) this weekend. Overall average this season is up from last year, with more sell-outs, too. Having so many sell-outs so early in the season is truly a great sign for summer.

FC DALLAS relieves Morrow of coaching duties

(Press Release) May 20 --- MLSNet.com: FC Dallas General Manager Michael Hitchcock has announced that Steve Morrow has been relieved of his duties as head coach, effective immediately. Marco Ferruzzi, in his fourth season as an assistant coach, will coach the team on an interim basis. Ferruzzi will make his debut against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, May 24 at Pizza Hut Park (7:30 p.m. CT).
