According to HOOPSWORLD.com, the Toronto Raptors and the Dallas Mavericks could be working on a deal that would send Josh Howard along with DeSagana Diop and Antoine Wright to the Raptors in exchange for Andrea Bargnani and Anthony Parker.
Trade Breakdown
Toronto Raptors
This trade would really help the Toronto Raptors improve both offensively and defensively. Josh Howard is a very talented player with experience in the playoffs. He has the ability to drive the ball to the hoop at any given time and can shoot the ball from almost anywhere on the court.
Defensively, Josh Howard would be able to guard the elite players in the Eastern Conference ( Paul Pierce , Dwyane Wade, Joe Johnson, LeBron James , and Rashard Lewis), giving the Raptors a great shot at making the playoffs. Diop is also an excellent defender and would get decent minutes behind Jermaine O’Neal.
